• Wilderness of Life (2 Cor 12:9)
Life can be difficult at times. Sometimes the lows are really low and seem unbearable. Jesus is always with us. He will carry us through the tough times and rejoice with us in the good times. He knows our every struggle. He was tempted in every way and suffered more than you or I could ever imagine. As we wander through this wilderness of life, He offers us His hand. He pulls us out of the pit and gives us the assurance of our salvation. --- Sharon

  • You Set Me Free (1 Cor 10:13, Gal 5:13-6:10, Phil 3:7-12, Eph 2:1-9)
Paul told us in Romans that what he wanted to do, he did not do; and what he did not want to do, that is what he did. Walking the straight and narrow is difficult, especially when it seems all eyes are on you just waiting for an opportunity to see you fall. As a Christian, I am still a sinful being. Temptation beckons me like everyone else. Yet I am released from the burden of sin through the forgiveness that is mine in Jesus. I only pray that people can see the grace of God working in my life and the love I have for Him rather than my human shortcomings. Proclaiming the name of Christ isn’t a responsibility I take lightly. --- Cheryl

  • Glory Days (Ecc 4:912, SS 2:10-13, Rom 8:22-24)
When I think of glory days, I look to the future when we will see our creator, our God, our loving King. It will be a glorious day for those who believe in Christ. God’s Word says,

“ We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has"? (Romans 8:22-24)

As I was looking heavenward, I came to realize that we are currently living in glory days. Each day is a new beginning. God is with us every step of the way. This life teaches us to trust in God. He is our hope – a hope that is unseen. What a blessing it is to share this hope with my loving husband who is also in love with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My husband, Chuck, is a wonderful blessing in my life. As we run through this life, hand in hand, together we’ll press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus – full of hope, full of smiles, full of love. These are the Glory Days, sharing this hope with the ones we love.
